Petrus was born on March 12th, 1712 in Heusden Zolder.¹   Petrus' father was Arnoldus (Jacobus) Gathoffs and his mother was Aleidis Schoppen.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had a brother named Andreas . He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jos, Antonius, <Unknown>, Maria and Helena.  He died at the age of 29 on March 14th, 1741 in Beringen.
