Thomas  was born on December 27th, 1605 in Antwerp.1   His godfather was Thomas Broers and his godmother was  Elisabeth Broers . Thomas 's father was Hans  BROERS  and his mother was Anna  Haecx .  His paternal grandparents were Joannes  BROERS  and Elisabeth Van Haecht . He had two brothers and a sister, named Jacobus , Jan  and Anna .  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 62 in April 1668 in Amsterdam.2
