Jan  was born on October 30th, 1589 in Antwerp.1  Jan 's father was Hans  BROERS  and his mother was Anna  Haecx .  His paternal grandparents were Joannes  BROERS  and Elisabeth Van Haecht . He had two brothers and a sister, named Jacobus , Thomas  and Anna .  He was the third oldest of the four children.
