Helena  was born on September 21st, 1640 in Antwerp.1   Her godfather was Paulus Van Brieselar and her godmother was Jena Noons. Helena 's father was Johannes Custers  and her mother was Francisca De Wit(te) . She had three brothers and three sisters, named Egididius, Joannes , Georgius, Anna, Susanna and Maria.  She was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
