Cornelis was born on May 11th, 1789.  Cornelis' father was Jan Cornelis de Boer and his mother was Trijntje Dirks Schoutsen / Schoutse / Schouten. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Dirk, Geertje, Cornelis, Anna, Vrouwtje, Lijsbeth, Lijsbeth and Trijntje.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died before 1793.
