Hendersken was born on March 17th, 1748.  Hendersken's father was Roelof Tenck (Tenk) and her mother was Willemken.  Her paternal grandparents were Hendrick Tenck and Vrouw / Moeder. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Hendrick, Jan, Berent, Harmen, Grietjen, Garritjen and Stijntje.  She was the youngest of the eight children.
