Albert was born on December 8th, 1880 in Stad Doetinchem (Doetinchem). Albert's father was Jan Bernhard Kempers and his mother was Harmina Weenk.  His paternal grandparents were Albert Kempers and Hendrika Bosboom; his maternal grandparents were Gerrit Jan Weenk and Johanna Abbink. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Hendrik Jan, Hendrik Jan, Jan Bernard, Gerrit Jan, Johanna Alberdina and Johanna.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at 1 months old on February 7th, 1881 in Stad Doetinchem (Doetinchem).
