Anna was born on February 5th, 1775.  Anna's father was Jan Cornelis de Boer and her mother was Trijntje Dirks Schoutsen / Schoutse / Schouten. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Dirk, Geertje, Cornelis, Cornelis, Vrouwtje, Lijsbeth, Lijsbeth and Trijntje.  She was the oldest of the nine children.
