Willemina was born on March 1st, 1828.  Willemina's father was Jochem de Vries and her mother was Hendrikje Boerwinkel.  Her paternal grandparents were Hijlle de Vries and Geesjen Jans Klos; her maternal grandparents were Feitze Boerwinkel and Geesje Leenders. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Hijllo, Hielle, Hijlle, NN, Geesje and Kona.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at just 294 days old on December 20th, 1828 in Meppel.
