Trijntje was born in March 1816.  Trijntje's father was Teunis Pietersz de Groot and her mother was Trijntje Jans Pijper. She had a brother and six sisters, named Cornelis, Geertje, Maartje, Kniertje, Neeltje, Geertje and Trijntje.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at just 105 days old on June 27th, 1816 in Nieuwe Niedorp.
