Herbert Pogson

Herbert was born about 1890 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ Herbert's father was William Pogson and his mother was Sarah Ann Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Anne Clarkson. He had a brother and seven sisters, named William, Clara, Nellie, Ellen, Ada, Beatrice, Doris and Custis. He was the third youngest of the nine children.
