Alice M. Hamlin (Bishop) 
Alice was born on April 4th, 1870 in North Carolina. Alice's father was William Wilshire Hamlin and her mother was Elisabeth (Hamlin). Her paternal grandparents were James Hamlin and Phoebe Siniard. She had three brothers and a sister, named James, Benjman, Tilson and Laura. She was the youngest of the five children. She was buried at the Rocky Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.-
