Donald was born in 1911. Donald's father was Alfred Malcolm POLAND and his mother was Alice Rose FARR. His paternal grandparents were Charles POLAND and Lily LEE. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Stanley, Sidney, Darcy, Grace, Ida and Kathleen. He was the fourth youngest of the eight known children.General Notes
