Rebecca POINTON

Rebecca was born in 1848 in Willunga, SA.¹   Rebecca's father was Jeremiah POINTON and her mother was Frances BROWN.  Her paternal grandparents were John POINTER and Mary EMERSON; her maternal grandparents were Robert BROWN and Susanna MARTIN. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named William, Robert, Robert, Jeremiah, Zaccy, Ann, Christina, Maria, Mary, Emma, Alice and Susan.  She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 65 on October 13th, 1913 in Port Pirie, SA.  She was buried in Port Pirie Cemetery, SA.^1 1
