Jeremiah POINTON

Jeremiah was born on February 28th, 1858 in Aldinga, SA.¹   Jeremiah's father was Jeremiah POINTON and his mother was Frances BROWN.  His paternal grandparents were John POINTER and Mary EMERSON; his maternal grandparents were Robert BROWN and Susanna MARTIN. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named William, Robert, Robert, Zaccy, Ann, Rebecca, Christina, Maria, Mary, Emma, Alice and Susan.  He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 68 on April 11th, 1926 in Prospect, Adelaide, SA.  He was buried in Willaston, SA.^1 2
