Emma was born on March 21st, 1875 in Gawler River, SA.1 Emma's father was Edmund PARHAM and her mother was Mary McMANUS. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund PARHAM and Sarah COPIS. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Samuel, Joseph, Silas, Frederick, Lydia, Adeline and Catherine. She was the youngest of the nine children.-
