Catherine was born on April 1st, 1873 in Gawler River, SA.1 Catherine's father was Edmund PARHAM and her mother was Mary McMANUS. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund PARHAM and Sarah COPIS. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Samuel, Joseph, Silas, Frederick, Lydia, Adeline and Emma. She was the second youngest of the nine children.-
