Wallan OCKENDEN (Wallace)

Wallan was born in 1872 in Littlehampton, Sussex, England.¹   Wallan's father was Albion OCKENDEN and his mother was Caroline FISHER.  His paternal grandparents were William OCKENDEN and Elizabeth HILLS. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Albion, Frederick, Walter, Archibald, Egbert, Caroline, Margaret, Mary and Edith.  He was the second youngest of the ten known children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Sargent, Maurice, Edward, Grace, Elizabeth and Clara.
