Albion was born in 1818 in Littlehampton, Sussex, England and his christening took place there on January 10th, 1819.1 2  Albion's father was William OCKENDEN and his mother was Elizabeth HILLS. He had a brother and four sisters, named Palmer, Elizabeth, Agnes, Caroline and Emma.  He was the youngest of the six known children.  He died at the age of 86 in 1904 in Surrey, England.3
