Effie OCKENDEN 
Effie was born on November 10th, 1878 in Mount Plesant, SA.1 Effie's father was William Marshall OCKENDEN and her mother was Mary Elizabeth BARRETT. Her paternal grandparents were Palmer OCKENDEN and Emma MARSHALL; her maternal grandparents were Ambrose BARRAT and Mary. She had four brothers and a sister, named Archibald, William, Frank, Frederick and Bessie. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 82 in 1960.2 -
