Amelia was born on July 13th, 1867 in Hutton Bushel, North Yorkshire, England.1 Amelia's father was John JOWSEY and her mother was Emma MARFLITT. Her paternal grandparents were John JOWSEY and Ann ROBINSON; her maternal grandparents were Richard MARFLITT and Ann ANGEL. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Frederick, Richard, Robert, Sarah, Louisa, Cecila, Lucy, Edith and Charlotte. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 28 on November 6th, 1895 in Wykeham, North Yorkshire, England. She was buried on November 8th, 1895 in Wykeham, North Yorkshire, England.1 1 General Notes
