Olive was born on May 8th, 1882 in Snowtown, SA.1 Olive's father was John Henry CAUSBY and her mother was Ellen Mary WARD. Her maternal grandparents were Alfred Samuel WARD and Julia RENDELL. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Frank, Alfred, Leonard, James, Charles, George, Nellie, Ethel and Elva. She was the oldest of the ten children.-
