John BARTON

John was born on January 25th, 1862 in Barkers Creek, VIC.¹

John's father was John Hudson BARTON and his mother was Mary Louisa WEBBER.  His maternal grandparents were William Wood WEBBER and Henrietta Hanna FIRN. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named William, James, Charles, Isabella, Mary, Elizabeth, Amelia, Ellen, Emily, Caroline, Martha and Hannah.  He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 58 on November 30th, 1920 in Eaglehawk, VIC.  He was buried on December 2nd, 1920 in Eaglehawk, VIC.^2 2
