Mary Mitchell ANTHONY

Mary was born in 1835 in St Austle, Cornwall, England and her christening took place there on February 26th, 1837.^1 2

Mary's father was Josiah ANTHONY and her mother was Anne HOCKING.  Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel ANTHONY and Ann. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Charles, Elizabeth and Sarah.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 23 on November 27th, 1858 in Kooringa, SA.  She was buried on November 1st, 1858 in Burra, SA.^3 4
