Alfred Roy ALLEN

Alfred was born on August 31st, 1914 in Lameroo, SA.¹   Alfred's father was William Thomas ALLEN and his mother was Alice Jane PAGE.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph ALLEN and Mary Ann HEATH; his maternal grandparents were Alwin John PAGE and Jessie CARRAILL. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William, Clarence, Vera, Gladys, Ivy, Jessie, Winifred and Dorothy.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.
