Dorothy Laurel ALLEN

Dorothy was born on December 19th, 1916 in Lameroo, SA.¹   Dorothy's father was William Thomas ALLEN and her mother was Alice Jane PAGE.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph ALLEN and Mary Ann HEATH; her maternal grandparents were Alwin John PAGE and Jessie CARRAILL. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Clarence, Alfred, Vera, Gladys, Ivy, Jessie and Winifred.  She was the youngest of the nine children.
