Joseph was born on February 24th, 1870 in Moravia, Checkoslovakia. Joseph's father was Josef VETESNIK and his mother was Ann TOMAN. His paternal grandparents are George VETESNIK and Anna NEVRKLA; his maternal grandparents were Jan (John) TOMAN and Josepha (Josephine) ZABRSA. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Frank, John J., Anton W., Michael Louis, Petronella, Josephine and Anna Marie. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 on May 29th, 1939 in Tacoma, Washigton.-
