John J. was born on February 21st, 1881 in Plattesmouth, Nebraska. John J.'s father was Josef VETESNIK and his mother was Ann TOMAN. His paternal grandparents are George VETESNIK and Anna NEVRKLA; his maternal grandparents were Jan (John) TOMAN and Josepha (Josephine) ZABRSA. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Frank, Anton W., Michael Louis, Petronella, Josephine and Anna Marie. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 55 on May 18th, 1936 in Plattesmouth, Nebraska.-
