Ellen MAHONEY 
Ellen was born in 1836 in Douro, Peterborough, Ontario.. Ellen's father is William MAHONEY and her mother is Mary TOBIN. She had a sister named Mary. She died at the age of 47 on October 25th, 1883 in Juniata, Adams Nebraska.
Ellen and Timothy Franklin were married in a religious ceremony on January 16th, 1853 in Petersborough, Ontario, Canada.1 They had five sons and four daughters, named Timothy Franklin, John Edward, Michael, Thomas, William Patrick, Nora, Jane, Margaret E. and Mary.

On the 16th of January 1853 I the undersigned Priest after one publication of the marriage bonds having dispensed with the other two by virtue of a faculty granted to me by Bishop Phelan have married Timothy May son to Timothy May and Ellen Brierly on the one part and Ellen Mahoney daughter to William Mahoney and Mary Tobin on the other part both of Douro, in the presence of Timothy and Ellen May.
