Elizabeth KING 
Elizabeth was born in 1822 in Pevensey, Sussex, England and her baptism took place there on May 5th, 1822.1 Elizabeth's father is Charles KING and her mother is Martha GURR. Her maternal grandparents are Henry GURR and Judith WEYMARK. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Isaac, John, William, Ann, Bethiah, Hannah and Rhoda. She died at the age of 75 in 1897 in London.1 General Notes

Elizabeth King was born in Pevensey, Sussex in 1822, the daughter of Charles King and Martha Gurr. Little else is known about her early life. She married Charles Henry Hoodless at St Marylebone Church in London 2 Mar 1857. But what brought her from Sussex to London is not known, whether the whole family moved or if she came alone, perhaps to work, can only be guessed at. She had at least four children and possibly more. The date of her death is not known.
Elizabeth and Charles Henry were married in a religious ceremony on March 2nd, 1857 in Stmarylebone, London, England.1 They had four sons named Henry John., James, Charles William and George.
