Charles Henry HOODLESS 
Charles Henry was born on July 30th, 1832 in Piccadilly, London, England and his baptism took place on January 20th, 1834 in StJames, Piccadilly, London, England.1 Charles Henry's father is William HOODLESS and his mother is Elizabeth WHITING. His paternal grandparents are John HOODLESS and Elizabeth LAW. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William James, Alfred, Frederick, Oliver John, Eliza, Elizabeth, Emma Sarah, Jane Ferry and Mary Ann. Charles Henry Hoodless was born in the Piccadilly area of London 30 Jul 1832 and was baptised at St James, Piccadilly 20 Jan 1834. He was the son of William Hoodless and Elizabeth (nee Whiting). As far as is known he was the couples first child. Nothing is known about his childhood. He married Elizabeth King 2 Mar 1857 at St Marylebone Church, London. His occupation in the 1850s and 60s was given as 'gas fitter' but in the 1881 census it is 'brass finisher'. In 1858 he and his family lived at 17 Mary Street, Hampton Road, St Pancras. By 1862 they had moved to 21 Grange Road, Camden Town. The 1881 census shows them living at 47 Howard Road, Hornsey. Charles Henry died at the age of 84 in 1915. His burial place is not known.
Charles Henry and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on March 2nd, 1857 in Stmarylebone, London, England.1 They had four sons named Henry John., James, Charles William and George.
