Richard was born in 1795 in Kilcavan, Wicklow, Ireland. Richard's father was Bartholomew KENNY and his mother was Anne BREEN. His paternal grandparents were James KENNY and Mary BYRNES; his maternal grandparents are John BREEN and Jean WILLIAMS. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, Philip, Mary, Catherine and Sarah (Sarah). He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 71 in 1866 in Kennystown, Wicklow, Ireland.General Notes

Richard was born on January 13th, 1855 in Kennystown, County Wicklow, Ireland.4 He died at the age of 34 on May 25th, 1889 in County Wicklow, Ireland.5
