Maria da Glória was born about 1810. Maria da Glória's father was Christianno José Arnaud and her mother is Vicência Ermelinda Barbosa. Her paternal grandparents were Capitão José Joaquim Arnaud and D. Branca Flora de Chaves Coutinho. She has a brother and three sisters, named Christianno Barbosa, Maria Vicência, Maria Luiza and Maria Henriqueta. She is the oldest of the five children.-
