James Sidney Crick

James Sidney was born about 1849 in Kirtling, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ James Sidney's father was Matthew Crick and his mother is Caroline Pettet. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Crick and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Trundey. He had three brothers and five sisters, named David Pettitt, James Sydney, Henry, Eliza, Tamar, Mary Ann, Sarah and Emma Lydia. He is the fourth youngest of the nine children.
