  • Passed as a master in Toulouse, for Albi, as he had asked to be posted either in Albi or in Villefranche de Rouergue. Declares to have been an apprentice at his father's and to have been working in various cities in the kingdom. On 20 Feb. 1759 he rents the stamps rights for the cities of Albi, Cordes , Gaillac and Realmont, for the period from 1st Oct 1758 to 30 Sep t. 1762 at a cost of 200 livres per year.  Antoine Aldibert is his journeyman in 1773. He works for the collegial chapter St Michel de Gaillac, for the seminary and for the Jacobins in Albi.  AD HG.B 19; 3E IO 747 AD Tarn B 761  He is considered as a suspect person during the Revolution and takes refuge in Toulouse where in 1793 he is with his two sons Jean François Jose ph and Marie Jean-Baptiste Michel, rue des Filatiers. He will return to Albi only to die.  He had married Marie Anne Bellet on Nov 26th 1761 who had given him two daughters and five sons from 1764 to 1773. Marie Anne died during that last year while being delivered.
