Llorenc was born in 1815 in El Montmell.  Llorenc's father was Lluis Colet Ferrer and his mother is Rosa Grogues.  His paternal grandfather was Benet Colet Esplugues and his paternal grandmother is Magina Ferrer. He had four brothers named Lluis, Joan, Ramon and Pau.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  Llorenc is no longer alive.
