Joseph was born in 1736 and his baptism took place on May 29th, 1736 in Bramshott, Hampshire, England.1   Joseph's father was Richard Tuckey and his mother was Anne Bridger.  His maternal grandparents were John Bridger and Ann B. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Thomas, John, Joseph, James, Anne, Mary, Abigail, Sarah and Hannah.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 47 in 1783 in Bramshott, Hampshire, England.1
