James Tuckey

James was born in 1742 in Bramshott, Hampshire, England and his baptism took place on March 18th, 1742. James' father was Richard Tuckey and his mother was Anne Bridger. His maternal grandparents were John Bridger and Ann B. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Thomas, John, Joseph, Joseph, Anne, Mary, Abigail, Sarah and Hannah. He was the eighth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 in 1821.

General Notes
- A James Tuckey married Mary Maunt at Headley on 12/6/1763. Another James Tuckey married Mary Robinson at Headley on 13/9/1764. Which is 'our' James? Similarly, eight children were born to "James and Mary" but I do not know to which couple each belonged. The children were: James 1765, Sarah 1766, Mary 1768, Elizabeth 1770, William 1772, Joseph 1774, Hannah 1777-1778 and Frances 1782. Sarah married Richard Burchett in 1792.
