Sir Rowland Stanley 4th Bt. 
Rowland was born about August 23rd, 1707 in Eastham, Cheshire, England and his baptism took place there on August 23rd, 1707. Rowland's father was Sir William Stanley (3rd Baron Hooton & Stourton) and his mother was Catherine Eyre. His paternal grandparents were Sir Rowland Stanley (2nd Baron Errington) and Anne Paston; his maternal grandparents were Rowland Eyre (of Hassop) and Elizabeth Plunkett. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Henry, Thomas Charles, Charles, James, Elizabeth, Anne and Dorothy. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died on April 9th, 1771 in Eastham, Cheshire, England.-
