William Slade

William was born on January 11th, 1788 and his baptism took place on February 3rd, 1788 in North Perrott, Somerset, England.  William's father was Stephen Slade and his mother was Elizabeth Body. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, Samuel, John, Sarah, Ann, Ann, Joan, Susannah, Constance and Elisabeth.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children.
