Thomas was born in July 1743 in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England.  Thomas' father was Thomas Parsons and his mother was Sarah Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were John Parsons and Ann Unknown. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Anne Parsons and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 72 in May 1816 in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, England.
