George Muir

George was born about July 18th, 1823 in Fordel, Dalgetty, Fife, Scotland. George's father was Walter Muir and his mother was Helen Beveridge. His maternal grandparents were George Beveridge and Janet Muir. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, David, Janet, Montgomery, Betty, Grace and Mary Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died about 1848.
