William Farthing

William was born about 1872 in Taunton, Somerset, England.  William's father was John Farthing and his mother was Sarah Ann Grant. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Charles, Walter, Arther Willie, Fred, Mary (Polly), Sarah, Harriet, Elizabeth, Beatrice May and Louise.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.
