Albert Edward was born in December 1882 in Islington, London. Albert Edward's father was Charles Frederick Cookson and his mother was Constance Emily Gillett. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Thomas Cookson and Elizabeth WIGGINS; his maternal grandparents were Frederick Gillett and Unknown. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Frederick Thomas Percy, George Theodore, Charles Walter, Arthur, Henry Frank, Constance May, Beatrice Mabel and Clara. He died at the age of 86 in March 1969 in Islington, London.-
