James Chrystie

James was born about 1672 in Kinglassie, Fife, Scotland. James' father was George Chrystie and his mother was Elizabeth Low. His paternal grandparents were James Chrystie and Allison Currer. He had three brothers and four sisters, named David, George, William, Agnes, Alison, Helen and Janet. He was the oldest of the eight children.
