Clarice was born on December 11th, 1882 in Echuca, Victoria, Australia. Clarice's father was Mathew Bowden and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Dunn. Her paternal grandparents were William Henry Bowden and Caithrine Clarke; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Dunn and Ann Reed. She had a brother and three sisters, named Matthew, Edith Elizabeth, Catherine and Amy Maria. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 34 on May 30th, 1917 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.-
