James Beveridge 
James was born on December 16th, 1768 in Dalgety, Fife, Scotland. James' father was William Beveridge and his mother was Elizabeth Livingston. His paternal grandparents were John Beveridge and Grissel (Grisle) Simson (Symsone). He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Christian, Archibald, Alexander and Grisle. He was the second youngest of the six children.-
