Robina was born on March 5th, 1857 in Hamilton, Victoria, Australia. Robina's father was David Alexander Beath and her mother was Marion Johnston. Her paternal grandparents were David Beath and Barbara Douglas Park; her maternal grandparents were George Johnston and Mary Dunn. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John Johnston, David, George James, Charles, Richard, Mary Johnston Dunn, Barbara Jane, Marion and Elizabeth Williamson (Lizzie). She died at the age of 83 on May 8th, 1940 in Hawthorn, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.-
