Grover was born on September 6th, 1891 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, USA. Grover's father was John B Sleasman and his mother was Martha E Miller.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Sleasman and Elizabeth Bungard (Sleasman); his maternal grandparents were Jacob T Miller and Elizabeth P Hanks. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Martin, Joseph, Mollie, Clara, Elizabeth and Della.  He was the sixth oldest of the seven children. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, Jacob, George, Arnold, Elijah, Margaret, Emma, Sara and Mary.  He died at the age of 81 on March 7th, 1973.

Grover's family

Grover and Ada were married in a religious & civil ceremony on June 2nd, 1917.1   They had three sons named Dale, Merle and Glen.  The family line is yet to be completed.
