John Stewart

John was born about 1819 in North Carolina, USA.¹ John's father was Robert Coleman Stewart and his mother was Martha E Miller. His maternal grandparents were Jacob T Miller and Elizabeth P Hanks. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, George, Arnold, Elijah, Margaret, Emma, Sara and Mary. He was the oldest of the nine known children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Martin, Joseph, Grover, Mollie, Clara, Elizabeth and Della. He died in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, USA.¹

John and Nancy were married in a religious & civil ceremony on June 10th, 1847 in Hopkins, Kentucky, USA.¹ The family line is yet to be completed.
